Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to recertify after 3 years?
No. Unlike other organisations, Childbirth International
recognises your certification for life.
During your training you will have worked hard at developing your skills
and increasing your knowledge base through the most comprehensive
training available. Your certification recognises this achievement and
does not need to be proven again in future years. We encourage all
graduates to carry out continuing education and keep their knowledge and
skills up to date.
Membership with Childbirth International is not
compulsory. You do not need to maintain membership or pay yearly fees in
order to continue your certified status. Involvement with any
training organisation should be because you believe in the philosophy of
that group and choose to support them, not because you are required to
in order to maintain your certification.
