Frequently Asked Questions
Do I receive written manuals?
You can choose to receive paper based manuals in addition to your online course materials, or alternatively you can select the green online option only and save the printing and shipping costs as well as reducing your carbon footprint!
When you first register for a course you will be asked to choose between
the paper manuals and the green option. If you choose the paper manuals
a shipping cost will be calculated and the manuals will be printed and
sent to you once your payments are made in full. These
manuals are for you to keep and form part of your growing library on
childbirth. For the Birth Doula and Postnatal Doula courses there are
three manuals - Communication Skills, Physiology and Birth or Postnatal
Doula Skills, comprising more than 650 pages of information. For the
Antenatal Teacher and Breastfeeding Counsellor courses there are three
manuals - Communication Skills, Physiology and Counselling or Teaching
Skills, comprising more than 950 pages of information. If you choose the
green online option you will have access to all the course materials
through the student website and will receive a discount on your course
cost.
Students who choose to pay for their course in one
payment will receive their manuals as soon as they register (allow about
2 weeks for delivery within the USA and Canada and up to 5 weeks for
other countries). Students who choose to pay by installments
receive their manuals when the final installment is made. You can pay
the balance of your account early if you would like to receive your
manuals sooner.
