If paying for your training is a financial struggle, there are several options open to you.
First, Childbirth International offers a payment instalment plan. You can choose to pay for your training over 3 months or 6 months to make it more affordable. You will have immediate access to all the course materials through the student website, and your written training materials will be sent to you as soon as the final instalment is made. If you decide to pay the balance early, you can do so at any time to receive your written materials straight away.
If the instalments are out of your reach financially, consider starting with two clients and using the income from that to finance your training. You could offer the clients a reduced fee, letting them know that working with them is going to help you towards gaining your certification.
Finally, consider how much you could save each week to work towards the cost of training. In just over nine months (the length of a pregnancy!), saving US$10 a week would provide you with the funds for training as a Birth or Postnatal Doula. With the added bonus of not incurring credit card debt!
